About PILP
The Public Interest Law Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that provides statewide support to the legal services community through litigation, policy advocacy, consultation and training for local legal services and other public interest law programs.
We specialize in the areas of public benefits, housing, health, civil rights, redevelopment and community reinvestment.
Responding to the elimination of federal funding for state and national legal services support centers, PILP was established in 1996 to ensure that local legal services programs could continue to participate in major litigation and advocacy on behalf of low-income persons.
