General Assistance Summit
Join us for an overview of General Assistance law and discussions on education and outreach to increase access to GA benefits in rural areas. Advocates in non-rural areas are encouraged to attend the General Assistance law overview session. MCLE credits will be provided.
General Assistance is a critical last resort benefit that meets the basic needs of the poorest in our State. However, across California, thousands of people are wrongly deprived of this state-mandated benefit.
