Welcome Val and Good Luck Patti

2016

We are pleased to welcome back Valerie Feldman as Staff Attorney for PILP. In 2014 Valerie filled in for Craig Castellanet while Craig was on a well-deserved sabbatical. Returning to PILP, she will work with local legal services programs throughout California to ensure that new community development will include affordable housing in transit oriented areas, communities of opportunities and communities experiencing gentrification. For more than a decade she focused on land use and housing issues at Legal Services of Northern California’s Sacramento office. Val currently serves on the board of the Sacramento Housing Alliance and last finished her terms as a long standing member of the Housing California board. She also regularly teaches a class on housing law at King Hall at U.C. Davis.Good Luck Patti!Patti Prunhuber has left PILP to become the Senior Policy Attorney for Child Care Law Center, where she will continue to fight for advancing the rights of low-income individuals and families across California. It is a loss for PILP, but a wonderful gain for the Center. Since 2010 Patti Prunhuber has been a critical part of PILP’s Public Benefits unit, helping guide several important advocacy efforts. We are sad to see he go, but we know that she will bring her skills and commitment to her new role.
